RVH Support Services are based in Kintore and provide private home care across Aberdeenshire.
Rachel, with over two decades of professional experience in Health & Social Care services in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, has a wealth of expertise in helping individuals transition from long-term hospital care to community-supported living arrangements. Recognising the need for more personalised care options, which includes home help, Rachel founded RVH Support Services.

- We provide “Care at Home” services to all adults (over 18 years of age) across Aberdeenshire who are deemed in need of services, regardless of their primary care type.
- Our services include support for individuals with:
- Learning disabilities
- Physical disabilities
- Mental health difficulties
- Acquired brain injuries
- Challenges associated with addiction
- Post surgery recovery
- We have extensive experience supporting individuals in post-addiction recovery, although we do not support those actively using substances.
- We provide personal care, medication management, domestic duties, shopping , cooking- home made meals and social outings or appointments.
Support Services Summary
RVH Support Services is dedicated to providing community-based care. We believe in the right to independent living and community integration. Our services include:
- Personalised Care Planning: Tailored to individual needs, including therapies, assistive devices, and home modifications for those with physical and mental health disabilities.
- Transition Support: We assist in transitioning from hospital or long-term care homes back to the community, with a minimum one-hour visit to ensure adequate support. We provide assistance with the transition into long-term care to ensure a smooth and successful settling-in process.
- Housing support: We can help you maintain your tenancy to enable you to live at home. We work with environmental services and can support you to maintain a healthy living environment.
- Qualified Staff: Our experienced team assists with Occupational Health referrals and equipment selection, empowering individuals to lead fulfilling lives.
- Proactive Approach: We focus on individual needs in a supportive environment, promoting health and wellbeing at home. We support our service users to write their own notes from a visit to enhance the users experience. This provides us with up to date feedback on how our service users needs are being met on a daily basis.
